I left a message on Christine's VM and she got back to me super quick. She was flexible and accommodating to my busy work schedule and squeezed me in for a last minute appointment that I desperately needed. She's a very friendly individual who both listened to what I had to say about the problems I was dealing with and made succinct recommendations on how to improve. Her vast array of knowledge is truly inspiring. She worked on me very thoroughly using different techniques. By the time she was finished, my arm felt brand new (going in feeling dead) and I felt like a brand new inspired person wanting to take care of my body mind and spirit through a healthy lifestyle. She's totally professional and would make a great asset to whatever you need healing with on a regular basis. Big mahalo!!
I fell on a hike and hurt my wrist pretty bad. I thought the rest of my vacation was going to be ruined. But Christine saved me. The next day I was out paddleboarding. The healing transformation was incredible. The best part of my story is I didn't even have an appointment. Christine was kind enough to help me while she was giving my partner a treatment. It was very refreshing to have somebody as skilled as Christine be so kind and generous. I must be in Hawaii because she is a true testament of Aloha.
Moxibustion (Moxa) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine technique that involves the burning of mugwort, also known as Artemesia Vulgaris, to facilitate healing and health.
Moxibustion has been used for healing purposes throughout Asia for thousands of years.
The purpose of Moxibustion, as with most forms of Traditional Chinese Medicine, is to strengthen the blood, digestion, and immunity. Moxa stimulates the flow of Qi (energy) and blood movement, warms the channels, and enhances your overall health and vitality.
Chinese cupping therapy is an ancient Chinese form of alternative medicine in which a local suction is created on the skin. A partial vacuum is created in cups placed on the skin by means of heat and suction. Organic oils facilitate “moving cupping.” Myofascial decompression cupping is deep tissue work. "Chinese cupping massage" with moving techniques, is deeply relaxing and resets the nervous system. This therapy provides sustained pain relief, improves muscular-skeletal conditions, and helps expedite healing of injuries. Minimal marks left behind. Christine was featured in the Kauai TGI News in 2016 on Chinese cupping.
In accordance to the laws of Chinese nutrition, it is recommended that a healthy person follow the seasonal guidelines to prevent illness, or to harmonize the body. The science of Chinese nutrition dates back some 5000 years and is based on the idea that the healing properties of foods can correct disharmonies within the body, and promote health. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, food is also medicine and many herbal formulas contain food elements.

This procedure strongly promotes QI and Blood in the channels and adjusts organ functions. This includes smoking cessation and NADA (National Auricular Detoxification Association) protocol for addiction detox.
Facial cupping uses vacuum technique, an all-natural treatment. It tones your facial muscles, reduces under-eye puffiness, lifts, and tones the jowls, relaxes tight brow, facial, and jaw muscles. It improves the blood circulation to your facial muscles and stimulates lymph movement. This treatment is a very unique way of turning back the hands of time. No marks left behind.

While at Pearl Harbor, my leg became so sore that I was unable to put any weight on it. Flying to Kauai the next day, I was in so much pain, I couldnt walk. A visit to Wilcox Hospital E.R., showed a bakers cyst behind my knee. Here I was the second day into my vacation and all they could offer was pain meds, a wheelchair, and rest. I asked for a list of acupuncturists at Wilcox E.R. Reading her qualifications and the fact that she was located 5 minutes from my location, I called for an appointment. Even though she was booked and leaving the next day, she made time for me and even came to my location. When she left I was able to walk and go on to enjoy my holiday. How can I ever thank her enough for saving my dream vacation. God bless her for going out of her way to help.
I have gone to Christine Walinch for the last six years because she is so extremely good, she helps you feel good. I have been going to acupuncturists for over 30 years, and out of that time until now. I have gone to probably at least 12 different practitioners all over the world. Out of all the licensed acupuncturists that I have seen, I feel that Dr Christine Walinch is the most thorough and effective. She has not only come to my house when I have been sick, one time she brought some herbs and homeopathic's. She is the best acupuncturist by far that I have ever been to. She is extremely thorough, kind, lovely. We are lucky to have Dr. Christine on our small island, she's an island girl! She is a gift to our island.
I am 63 and have been going to various acupuncturists for many years. Christine is, by far, the best and most effective one that I have ever found. She is incredibly knowledgeable and a wealth of information about nutrition as well as a fabulously centered practitioner. Her calm, sweet, capable energy was such a treat. I have never felt better after a treatment than with her. She is a gift and definitely a credit to the profession.
Christine is one of the most well-rounded acupuncturist I have ever been treated by. She has a gentle touch and her skills are surpassed only by her kindness. I receive an average of 2 treatments per week and it's a comfort knowing Christine is capable of handling multiple healing issues. Christine has an extensive knowledge of herbal remedies and she always leaves me well informed on how to further the benefits of the treatments. We are very fortunate to have her here on island to take care of our healing needs.
My recent session with Christine Walinch was a delight. Christine’s energy and enthusiasm for her work is evident from the first moment you meet her. Her light and buoyant personality enriches her skill as an acupuncturist. She felt to me as a dancer as she deftly inserted needles in the appropriate energy centers of my body. Christine is also willing to answer questions about anything regarding healing and oftentimes can offer assistance and insight into other areas of healing such as appropriate diet and supplements. Christine is truly a joy to work with, and her Joy, itself enhances the healing work that she performs. I would recommend Christine to anybody interested in supporting their journey towards greater health and vitality.
